The ONLY solution to hatred is provided ONLY by the God of love and ONLY to the individuals that know Him. 1 John 4:8: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
The only way that mortal men can know God intimately and have His love in them is to receive God the Son (Jesus) into their hearts. When men receive Jesus, they are sealed by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:12-13: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Romans 8:9b: . . . Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Because of who Jesus is, truly receiving Him is a surrender to Him. Paul*s prayer in Ephesians 3:17: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; . . . Romans 5:5: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.God hates sin and some other things. It is only appropriate for us to hate the same things He hates. All other hatred is sin and all racism is sin. Recently our nation*s attention has been focused mainly on white-on-black racism (hatred). There is white-on-black hatred. There is white-on-white hatred. There is black-on-black hatred. And there is black-on-white hatred. They are all equal sins in the eyes of God. Hatred is a five-fold problem. Individuals that hate God hate people of a different skin color and also hate some of those of their own skin color. Individuals that hate pretty much hate everyone that disagrees with them or is different from them in any way, regardless of skin-color. If you show me a white man that hates black people, it will be easy to prove that he also hates some white people. If you show me a black man that hates white people, it will be easy to prove that he also hates some black people. Men who simply do not want to know God or know about Him are the ones who hate. They disobey His commands to love Him and other men. They hate Him and commit all manner of evil against Him and other men, including hatred and racism. When God is absent from their hearts and lives the vacuum is filled by hate and sin. Romans 1:28-31: And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
You cannot legislate love. You cannot beat it into people. Demonstrations will not cause it. Violence and rioting will not cause it. There is only one source of the love that can cure the problem, the God of Love. The love of God in the heart of a man is intended to eliminate his hatred for God AND other men. It can cure all of his hatred problems. Galatians 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.Galatians 5:16: This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust (and hatred) of the flesh. |
